As Sr. Vice President of ALSAC Global, Suheir leads the global strategies in resource mobilization, education, training and raising awareness for the Global Initiative of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) is the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, whose mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
Suheir has been with ALSAC for 7 years and started in the Marketing department, where she was responsible for Issues Management and Brand Reputation.
Prior to joining ALSAC, Suheir lived and worked in the Middle East for 10 years and was the Country Director for Search for Common Ground, the largest conflict transformation organization globally. She worked with various governments on infectious diseases and led that region on media initiatives.
Suheir is a first generation Arab American. She received her master’s degree in international communications. Early in her career she was an Emmy Award winning journalist working for various media organizations.
