A state-certified medical doctor specializing in blood transfusion hematology, teacher-researcher and pedagogical director in hematology biology and blood transfusion at the Faculty of Medicine, Antananarivo. Former director of the University Hospital CHU JRA Antananarivo, head of the hemophilia and sickle cell disease treatment center, and head of blood diseases department. Member of the Malagasy Academy and the Academy of Medicine of Madagascar. President of the Malagasy Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (SOMAHETRA) and Vice-President of the French-speaking African Society of Hematology (SAFHEMA). Member of the African Society of Blood Transfusion (AfSBT) and the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)
