Dr Vinita Srivastava

Vinita Srivastava is a currently working at National Health Authority @ Government of India . She initiated Hemoglobinopathies at National health Mission in Government of India. During her tenure the first guidelines for hemoglobinopathies was released in 2016 . The concept of ICHH -Integrated centre for hemoglobinopathies and Hemophilia was initiated by her . Similarly the thalassemia Bal sewa yojna -which was initiated under the CSR activity of Coal India was initiated by her . now it implies on SCD patients as well . where rs 10 lakhs is provided to each patient for their Bone marrow transplants . she played a crucial role in Sickle cell elimination mission 2047 while working as Advisor Tribal Affairs . A new initiative of Ministry of Tribal Affairs . while workinh at NHA she along with the NHA officials and experts developed the Health benefit packages for SCD, under the Government of India insurance schemes- Ayushman Pradhan Mantri Jan Aroygya Yojna. she has participated in developing 32 guidelines of India & international standards standards.
